DIMPLE THAKKAR - CEO & IMPRESARIO
Dimple Thakkar began her career at a social media agency in New York as the Executive Director of Promotions. During Dimple’s time at the agency, she supervised social media marketing campaigns for top brands, influential Web 2.0 companies such as Photobucket, meebo, NING and over 50 artists including Kanye West, 50 Cent, Justin Timberlake, and Britney Spears. Additionally, Dimple worked in the talent management division within the same company as the Vice-President of New Media and Online Marketing, serving on the management team for a Grammy-nominated and global touring artist, as well as other Billboard charting rock and pop artists.
Currently, Dimple owns and operates SYNHERGY MARKETING which offers all types of online marketing and consulting with a focus in social media. Within their first year of establishment, SYNHERGY MARKETING was nominated top social media agency of 2009 on Mashable.com, one of the world’s largest blogging and news websites.
In 2010, SYNHERGY MARKETING was enrolled into the “Expert Marketing Program” offered by ReverbNation.com – the leading online music promotions platform used by over 2.2 million artists, managers, record labels, and venues to grow their reach, influence, and business across the Internet.
The following year, SYNHERGY’s website was nominated “Most-Innovate Agency Website” by iMedia Connection, the leading trade publisher and event producer serving interactive media and marketing industries.
In 2012, Dimple received the Power 30 Under 30 Award, an organization that recognizes young professionals that have accomplished much at a young age.
Aside from running her own company, Dimple was also the Director of Online Marketing for Girls in Tech Los Angeles and occasionally contributes as a blogger to offer her expertise in online marketing and social media for various publishers. She also served on the committee for Fender Music Foundation, a non-profit that provides instruments to music programs in need across the United States. Dimple Thakkar has a BA in Communications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
KEVIN MCGUIRE - ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Kevin McGuire became fascinated with marketing and advertising soon after his eyes opened often preferring the commercials to the boring shows in between the commercial breaks of the shows his parents watched. Soon after he learned to talk, he was suggesting ad slogans to stores frequented by his folks.. and, you guessed it, when he learned to write, he began submitting ideas to some of his favorite products (Log Cabin Syrups did not use his idea but they did send him coupons for a year's supply of syrup).
Much of Kevin's adult life has been spent as a teacher, musician and stagehand where he has been exposed to myriad experiences under many different circumstances -- everything from prepping Madonna's dressing room to directing a marching band in Los Angeles' Martin Luther King Parade to attending conventions for bassoonists in Boulder, Las Vegas and Manchester, England.
With a keen eye for composition, Kevin enjoys photography and gets a lot of practice these days capturing his son at his sporting events. Composition is also a key element in Kevin's work with SYNHERGY: bringing it all together in the most cohesive, effective manner possible. Kevin is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign with a BFA in music.
DEBBIE MILLER - SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGIST AND COORDINATOR

Debbie is proficient in social media and content development as well as strategic communication and branding. Enhanced by her degree in English, she has strong analytical-thinking skills along with a knack for copywriting and editing.
She does Search & Social Marketing for Hyperdisk Marketing, where daily responsibilities involve managing social media channels for various clients; strategizing and implementing social media marketing tactics; and analyzing social media platforms and their best practices.
In her previous role as Website & Social Media Manager for a destination marketing organization, she maintained the website, organized and managed content for ongoing print and online marketing initiatives, and launched then singly maintained their social media presence.
In early 2011, she founded Social Hospitality, which outlines the ways businesses in the hospitality realm can utilize social media for customer service, marketing, branding and more. Her goal is to educate those who may be new or skeptical about the benefits of using social media, and emphasize all that can be accomplished by doing so.
Additionally, Debbie is a monthly columnist at Windmill Networking, a website dedicated to maximizing social business, and writes for OC Metro and OC Menus, covering hospitality and restaurant news in the area. She also manages the blog for Il Fornaio Restaurants, social media for Mortgage Capital Associates and is the community manager for Gogobot in Orange County
She is active in numerous social and networking groups, and regularly attends events and other functions.
